 The Jamestown Renaissance Corporation coordinates revitalization strategies to build from these assets and make downtown and the adjacent riverfront more attractive for new residents, new businesses, and new investment. The JRC also works with a wide range of community partners to break this cycle of disinvestment by giving residents the confidence and encouragement to invest time, energy and resources in their homes and neighborhoods.

US Green Building Council
The US Green Building Council is a non-profit organization with goals of making green architecture and green building supplies available to everyone in the US.

Sustainable Sites Initiative
is a set of comprehensive, voluntary guidelines together with a rating system that assesses the sustainable design, construction, and maintenance of landscapes. ... (GBCI), the certification body for the LEED green building program from U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

National Trust for Historic Preservation
An organization dedicated to helping people protect, enhance and enjoy the places that matter to them. The Historic Trust for Preservation provides education, advocacy and resources to protect America’s diverse historic places and revitalize communities.
